Welcome to Beckside holiday cottage in Staithes.

This cosy holiday cottage is located in Staithes on the North Yorkshire coast a few miles from Whitby. With it's bright yellow front door The Cottage, Beckside is one of a group of pretty fishermen's cottages lying several metres back from the slow flowing tidal beck. The beck still provides mooring to several Cobbles (local name for the regions fishing boats) in a web of ropes and buoys. The hand dressed herring bone stone cottage lies down Beckside, just off the main street, very quiet with just a few foot passers-by and the odd seagull!

The Cottage, which sleeps four, is cosy yet comfortably spacious, described by one visitor as 'a bit of a Tardis'. A big advantage is that it is one of only a few cottages in the village that offers good outside seating, this is a small area between the cottage and the beck with a picnic table, ideal for eating 'al fresco' or just relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening!
