Parking is available at Glen Vale Car Park, pre-booking is essential, telephone 01947 84059, (prices for 2008 are £4.50 per day, £31.50 per week) or at the Council Public car park (charges vary from £1.20 for 2 hours to £5.00 for 24 hours all year round). Weekly permits are available from Scarborough Borough Council, who operate the car park, by telephoning free on 0800 0568458 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday), and the Tourist info centre in Whitby. This covers you for parking at Staithes plus other village Council car parks such as Runswick, Robins Hood Bay, various car parks in Whitby And Scarborough, a weekly ticket normally comes with a discount.
